Liquid Information Speeds Up Copying, Pasting, and Searching for Text [Video]

Liquid Information Speeds Up Copying, Pasting, and Searching for Text Mac: When your in the middle of a research project and bouncing all types of text between different applications it's tough to speed up the process. Liquid Information is a launcher-style app that speeds up transferring text between apps, searching, translating, and more.

To start, highlight any bit of text you want in an app, and hit Command+@. This loads the text into Liquid Information. Then, you can hit any other command to instantly translate it into another language, search for information on Wikipedia, Google, and more. It's essentially a way to speed up searching for strings of text without ever picking up the mouse. It works similar to application launchers like Alfred or Quicksilver, but with a more focused scope in what it can do. To get a better idea of how it works, check out the demo on the developer's site.
