Tim McGraw Gives Military Family a New Home on Cake Boss ...

Tim McGraw is forever grateful to the men and women who serve in the United States Armed Forces. To show his appreciation, the country music superstar teamed up with Operation Homefront to provide mortgage-free homes for one military family during each stop of his 2012 tour.

"We've been doing some pretty cool things this summer," McGraw, 45, told a New Jersey crowd on the Feb. 11 episode of Cake Boss. "Our veterans and our wounded warriors give so much to our country. They do so much for us."

McGraw then introduced baker Buddy Valastro, who wheeled out a giant cake in the shape of a pickup truck. The ornate dessert featured a two-story home was placed in the truck bed. "This is not just a cake," the singer explained. "This represents a real house that you guys are going to get."

Marine Chris Chaput and his wife, Roseanna, were visibility moved by the gesture. "For me, it means a lot because I couldn't provide that for my family from being injured in the war," says Chris, who was deployed once in Iraq and twice in Afghanistan. "It doesn't seem real."

A teary-eyed Roseanna added, "It means that we can have a baby now. We just got married in February and we've been waiting to get a house so we could have a baby."

Cake Boss airs Monday, Feb. 11, at 10 p.m. EST on TLC.
