FRISCO, Texas (AP) ? Police in a Dallas suburb have arrested a juvenile at a high school for making a threat on Twitter that "potentially jeopardized the safety of the school environment."
Police in Frisco issued a news release late Wednesday saying only that a boy of unspecified age allegedly made a threat "that was substantiated through investigation." The arrest occurred at Frisco Centennial High School.
The news release said it was unknown whether the boy had the means to carry out the threat. However, the alarm he caused school officials and the public met the elements for an arrest, the release stated.
Police said they would not provide any other information, nor would they conduct interviews relating to the case.
Frisco is located 27 miles north of Dallas.
