After three successes in the black and white vest, Supreme Johnson draws fifth in the Bags Track Championship Dogs
The Grade IR Bags Track Championship Dogs will be hosted by Perry Barr on Tuesday, 6th November, 2012 over 480 metres flat. The locals competing are, Barracuda Frank and Movealong Joker. Supreme Johnson and Cusco have come from Hall Green, while Monmore is being represented by, Ballingarry Shaw and Farloe Gambit. All the entries have not won over 480 metres, but they do have the experience of racing over it.
One of the strongest links in the line-up is the two-year-old black hound, Supreme Johnson. He has drawn the fifth trap, and has been successful in three out of the last four Grade A1 races.
He landed a Grade A1 480 metres flat race at Hall Green on 29th September, 2012. Racing in the jacket of the last box, the two-year-old quickly raced away from the rest of the lot, remained on the wide end of the track, and concluded the race in 28.57 seconds by keeping a firm grip on the lead throughout the track distance.
The speed and lead made him win by the margin of 4 ? lengths which saw Ballymac Orchard settling into the second slot.
Ninja Jamie?s son was then dominant in a Grade A1 480 metres on 13th October, 2012, over 480 metres at Hall Green.
Breaking from the same box as the previous one, the S. Buckland trained was quick to set into pace, take the wide end from the middle, and then stick to the leading role in the field.
The favourite entry completed the trip in 28.66 seconds, and defeated Eden Twister by 1 ? lengths.
What got him achieving the back-to-back was a Grade A1 480 metres flat race on 19th October, 2012 at Hall Green.
The same trap for the straight third time got him declaring success in 29.09 seconds, and taking advantage of the final length that went in his favour.
The drilling session of the two-year-old at Perry Barr was from the similar box too, however the draw in the actual contest is fifth, the orange jacket.
He will need to look out for the red box, Barracuda Frank, as his speed and the draw, both are in favour.
